PROCEEDS FROM DANCING BY THE SEA WILL SUPPORT THE GOOD WORKS OF MERCY CENTER

Mercy Center at Madison, a sponsored work of the Sisters of Mercy, offers programs, seminars, retreats and sabbaticals for women and men of all faith traditions to enrich the soul, explore the spirit and challenge the mind.

Mercy Center transforms lives, one person at a time.  Our programs have a reputation for excellence.  We offer week-long retreats to deepen one’s connection to self and spirit; day and weekend programs in spirituality, ecology, healing & creative arts, peace & social justice; two-year programs in spiritual formation and spiritual direction training; as well as sabbaticals for those who need personal renewal in order to fulfill their ministry.  Programs are presented by internationally renowned authors, local area presenters and our program staff.

The Ecology Program at Mercy Center is born out of one of the tenets of the Sisters of Mercy to revere Earth and work more effectively toward the sustainability of life.  Mercy Center seeks to fulfill this vision by examining our operations to incorporate more sustainable and ecologically sound methods into our business practices.  As we educate ourselves, we also strive to provide events to educate the community about local environmental concerns, opportunities for people to connect with nature and programs to strengthen individuals’ spiritual connections to Earth.

Mercy for All is a program for the two groups of people who live daily and deeply with poverty:  the materially poor and those who work with them.  Poverty can be disabling, moving men and women from material want to spiritual and emotional harm.  Through the Mercy for All, Mercy Center seeks to head off the spiritual, mental and emotional consequences of poverty by sharing its healing gifts - the gift of time away from the daily struggles for basic needs to the restorative setting of Mercy Center.  Whatever the length of stay, Mercy Center helps people to rest, to explore their deeply held values and to gain new energy to help them in their lives and to support their work.

Thank you for supporting Mercy Center at Madison.
